GetReal Security has been named as a Market Shaper in the 2026 Gartner® Emerging Market Quadrant for Deepfake Detection — Startup Vendors.
In the report, GetReal is recognized as the startup with the most potential for market disruption (furthest to the right on Potential for Market Disruption), and positioned in the upper-right Market Shaper quadrant.
We're incredibly pleased with this recognition, not only because of where we're positioned today, but because of what we believe it says about where the market is headed.
Why this matters
Deepfake detection is no longer a niche capability.
As the report says: “Gartner defines deepfake detection as an emerging cybersecurity discipline with capabilities to detect, analyze and perform forensics on fabricated, manipulated, AI-generated or AI-manipulated multimedia — including images, audio, video and live interactions — when the primary purpose is to deceive or disinform.”
For enterprise teams, that means trust now has to be protected in the same places business happens: live meetings, hiring workflows, executive communications, contact centers, and other high-stakes digital interactions.
What Gartner says about Market Shapers
“The offerings in this market assess media authenticity and tampering using digital media analysis and risk scoring, with applications across episodic and industrial disinformation use cases.”
In our opinion, that aligns with GetReal’s approach: not a single signal, not a one-time check, but continuous verification across the pixels and sound waves enterprises run on.
GetReal’s approach
Our vision has always extended beyond deepfake detection. While deepfake detection is an essential capability, it is only one piece of a much larger challenge.
The real question organizations face isn't simply “Is this media fake?". It's "Can I trust the person on the other end of this interaction?"
That question extends across executive communications, remote hiring, financial approvals, customer interactions, and every digital workflow where identity matters.
From the beginning, GetReal has focused on helping enterprises establish trust in those interactions through multimodal analysis, forensic intelligence, and continuous verification, not isolated point-in-time detection.
As AI continues to evolve, organizations will need more than tools that identify manipulated content. They'll need platforms capable of continuously assessing trust across increasingly complex digital environments. That's the future we're building toward.
GetReal is purpose-built to help organizations detect and respond to synthetic media threats in real-world enterprise workflows.
Core capabilities:
- Multimodal deepfake detection across audio, video, and image signals
- Forensic-grade intelligence for explainable analysis
- Continuous verification for live and high-risk interactions
- Workflow-ready deployment for enterprise security teams
